The Bush Inn Hotel is a landmark corner hotel built in 1850. The hotel offers affordable pub flair with a twist on pub favourites, a great line up of craft beers and ciders and an expansive wine list.
At the onset of COVID-19 trading restrictions, the owners of the venue wanted to implement a system which create COVID-safe environment for guests. Shortly afterwards, tightening of operating restrictions would disallow onsite drinking or dining and the business pivoted to takeaway service.
DQ was implemented within the bar areas where QR codes on each table offered patrons the option to view the menu, order and pay. Self-service was complemented by personal table service, giving guests the choice to interact with staff in the way they felt comfortable. With the increase of restrictions, DQ helped the business to establish a takeaway menu accessible via their website and social media.
